CNA training is something most people look down upon because they are of the opinion that one could spend their time and efforts better by taking up nursing training or med school instead. CNA training will cover many other things like how to properly position a person and how to get them to that position; how to handle patients with mental conditions like Alzheimer's and Dementia; and basic medical procedures and training on the use of many different medical equipment.

While cna training can be quite costly, there is also some free CNA training available. This is because of the high demand of CNAs in many senior nursing homes and in private homes as well. To find the free CNA training courses, look around for facilities such as nursing homes or establishments that may offer them. They are quite numerous and you can even call the state's Department of Public Health to see if they are offering scholarships. They will be the ones who will pay for your CNA training in exchange for you working a given number of hours to pay them back.
